How to buff scratches out of side mirror glass

Anyone know what will work to remove fine scratches from side mirror glass?

I think you're gonna need something like jewellers rouge and a high speed buffing wheel to do anything to glass. It's a case of, you can probably buy stick on replacement mirror for less than the supplies to do a good job.

The mirror. Apparently it’s not actual glass and steel wool won’t be safe to use.

I used toothpaste to remove scratches from our dogs nails on our patio slider.
