Sold: Florida How I saved some money... How I could have saved some more.

I have ordered the Maverick Lariat Lux Hybrid last year, June 28th. I got my truck delivered February 17. Although the Mav came with a significant sticker price increase (about @900), as requested by the dealer, I had to pay the higher sticker $ and wait for check in the mail for the difference. Apparently they had to request the refund from the Regional Ford marketing people. So in the end the dealer honored the price. The check came about 2 weeks later.
What did I do with the money? Well... I decided to spoil my Mav and get some accessories: 1) Hood Scoop; 2) Cab Spoiler; 3) Tailgate Applique.
Installation cost on Ford website was $30 per piece but I decided to install them myself and save some bucks.
The Hood Scoop and Cab Spoiler come with a tube of sealant, while the Tailgate Applique was attached with only the double sided 3M tape. All three can be painted on, but I think they look cool as they are, they match the bumpers and the bed cover and it's not worth the extra money

The extra bed lights (Lumen TouchLink) that I have ordered last year were not installed at the time of picking up my Mav - they were not in stock yet!!! So I had to have it back to the dealer and get them installed professionally. However, my sales rep came to pick it up and dropped it back the next day. The Lariat Lux already has a large bed light but when I ordered my Mav last year, I thought that it may not be enough. The price for those lights at the time I placed my order was $200 (including installation). Today I would probably think twice about the need of the extra lights.
