We've owned our Maverick XLT since September 2023. They were so scarce when we were looking that our choice was to drive to Manhattan, Kansas or somewhere in Oklahoma. Since we didn't have our passports handy, Manhattan it was.

Pepper 🌶 is now happy and healthy in our drive and has 15k miles on her. My hubby loves his little twucklet!

Heres a picture of her and her big brother, Brutus the Blue, which I drive.

Longtime lurker, I've answered a few questions and now need to figure out how to post one of my own.

Twucklet???? You may be making quite a first impression with your post. Real men(women) do not eat quiche of drive twucklets!! We drive a compact, efficient, and high performance Maverick!!:teehee: Love the 🌶 red. Bold just like the Maverick!

We jokingly call it a twucklet because it looks so small compared to Brutus! He loves his truck, it has everything he wants and needs. Big enough to haul his dog, fishing stuff and people but small enough to fit easily in the garage, any parking spot and has much better mpg than Brutus. Lots of safety stuff to make him feel better amongst all the crazies in the road here--and we do have a ton of them. I wish mine had them, but he's too old.

Thanks! Pepper belongs to my hubby, but I drive almost everywhere when we are together as he drives a humongous loader all day and is 'done' driving when he's home. I drive Brutus, the F150. Sure is a big difference between them!

There is a huge difference. I like my Maverick a whole lot more than my old F150. Don't get me wrong it was a great truck 16 yrs and over 200,000 miles. It drove like a tank, felt like a tank, parked like a tank and the fuel economy of a tank. I can not see on your photo but mine also had the 6 3/4 box. Being a breeze to get in and out and the convenience to reach over the rail to grab something vs climbing in the bed, is really growing on me. I hope both the Pepper and Brutus lasts a long time.

I like both of them. I've had Brutus since 2014 and I'm very comfortable with him, but Pepper has so much more get up and go that you can feel some serious G forces! I do like sitting up higher in the 150 vs the Maverick though.
