A rodent got into my engine and chewed up some wires and the insulation. The dealer repaired all the wires and main engine harness but not the insulation. How big a deal is this? I was going to pick the truck up last Saturday but I refused to pay until they fix the insulation. Thoughts?

I did file a claim, fortunately I am covered. I just don't know how concerned I need to be over the insulation not being fixed. I will push for it tomorrow (Monday) when I can talk to my service advisor and my insurance agent.

Well, Ford still has my Maverick. I am waiting to see if the claims adjuster will approve the $7362! repair. If they do, then I have a 3-4 week wait because my dealership says parts take 10-14 days and 30 hours to repair. Awesome.
