I just put an order on an FX4+4k so now I have to figure out how to endure the wait without getting too crazy.
My dealer said 3-6 months but from what I've seen it could be a month, could be a year...

Hopefully I'll be able to contribute some useful information once I get it and start playing around with things.

Welcome to the Forum. Just about everyone on this forum is used to the waiting game. I (we) feel your pain (anxiety). Lots of great info on here so you can plan out your Maverick modifications in advance or just get some great Ideas. Take Care 🤟

Sit back and relax. I will get there some day. LOL Now that Ford has two shifts you might get your Maverick faster than I did. It will be worth the wait in my opinion.

Thanks for the warm welcome, I've already been checking out the DIY and modification posts. With the XLT being a middle of the road truck in regard to options it looks like there will be plenty of things to play with.

There are three shifts, now.

OP: Expect a wait of anywhere from 3 months to over a year. I waited almost 13 months. Many people had to wait much longer than that. The wait time does seem to be dropping, though.

Everything seems to be pointing to shorter wait times for the 24 models. Maybe you will get lucky and get yours quickly. You need to warm up the frozen tundra with a hot Maverick. Good luck.

I guess that means there are much more orders now then when I ordered. I waited about 12 months. As soon as the Tremor was introduce I changed the order to the Tremor and had a ( your order is being scheduled) in my email with in a week. :)
