Ford Maverick Got truck this week 20220412_111326_HDR

Received carbonated grey XLT Eco boost AWD tow package drop in bed liner rubber floor mats full size spare this week. Northland Ford was awesome. Did 3year 0 percent financing. Ordered mid November. Drove around a little used a quarter tank of gas. Today will fill it and go on a 200 mile round trip and check highway mpg. So far lovin' it except for the tires. Got about an inch of snow where I live last night. Used slippery mode.it was alright I guess but anti lock brakes worked more than should have and I'm not impressed with the continentals. I'll be changing them. Wish I had ordered FX4 and got better tires.Wife's Tucson came with Michelins and is more sure footed. Anyway in lovin' it and will replace tires before next winter and thanks to all on Maverick truck club for all the info and explaining the high tech inside the his truck as I'm going from a 2000 Camry to this and would have been scared of that dash and center console without MTC

Congrats on the truck! And yes, the tires are definitely the worst part of this truck by far. Not only are they far too narrow, but Continental is kind of like the cheapy brand of the "good" brands. Meaning yes there are cheaper brands, but those are like way below acceptable and no reputable car brand would use them in their cars from factory, lol. Michelins/BFGs would be much better, and I really think they should have went with 245s instead of 225s...

Continental tires come from the factory on lots of BMW’s and Mercedes. There not bad tires but all tires from the factory are not great they tend to wear out very fast.

I never said they are bad tires. I literally said they are the lower end of "good" tires... So they are still good tires, and are definitely of good enough quality to be put on any reputable brand of car, but they are not usually as high performance as some other brands is all I'm saying.

Almost my exact order, looking sharp, I am also regretting not getting the fx4 but I will live without it.

Tires fine down south probably but I went with AWD because we have snow 5 months of the year. Not knocking the brand just the specific tire. for snow a more aggressive tread is better. I plan on changing them
