Getting Hitch Installed After Delivery

I meant to have a hitch put on with my order ($100 at time of order). Something must have happened when I selected all the options and I was just excited to order I missed it not being there when the dealer sent over my order sheet. Mad at myself as now I know it will cost way more than it would have. Does anyone have good advice on where to have it done? I talked to someone at the dealer and they mentioned a "trailer place" would do it cheaper but couldn't answer how that would affect the warranty.
