If Ford truly wants to ditch the dealer stock model and go to build to order they desperately need to improve their order tracking. Internally their tracking for the most part functions and gives details on where it is in production and transit yet they don't push that data to the customer tracker even when it's operational. I'm also in production with final assembly scheduled for Wednesday but can't see what's happening. I've been running the VIN on asbuilt to see if it's alive yet and then will track it via united road.

Agreed. They could easily create software that integrates data already being collected for internal purposes to update customers orders.

Instead it seems they're doing everything manually.....

Jesus guys. Relax. There's been a HUGE, global zero-day vulnerability announced Friday that has compromised just about every corporate web-based system in the world. Better that Ford shuts theirs down than that all of our info get compromised. _Everyone_ is scrambling to try and get this thing fixed.
