Just read in Ford Authority’s email of Ford opening the Maverick in Argentina. Thought, ok, Ford has the Brazil plant to help with the Maverick production…nope, that plant just closed, production will come the Hermosillo plant….
It’s reported the XLT will be sold at USD$39.3K and Lariat at $49.6K with AWD and Tow package being available.
Reducing one’s expectations is one form of managing disappointment but I WANT WHAT I WANT WHEN I WANT IT AND I WANT MY MAVERICK sooner than later.
On the up side, Ford’s stock is up almost three times, now at $20, time to buy? To help raise the stock value, start local owners supporting their Ford dealerships so others can see the various trims, place their orders and then start a fantasy owners club, wait, I’m already in one.
Sorry for the Debbie Downer rant, my son in Calif last month was able on the first day of deciding he wanted a Maverick to locate and buy a Lariat…..and I’m waiting for a build date having ordered on August 16th……..kid always has had “the touch”.
Never was good at patience………
