It's not scratched, There is a peel off skin on the shield that you remove after installation. Follow the instructions and stick the foward edge first. work from the center out.

Thanks for the note about the scuff. Never can be sure and since I’m selling it I believe in full disclosure. $45 is a pretty decent price even it was a bit scuffed. It’s gonna get more beat up over time if it does it’s job. Garage space is more important than getting money back at this point.
