Ford app error message

Hi all. I am hoping for guidance with an error message in the Ford app (latest version 6.6.0) on iOS.
It reads, “Vehicle connectivity off…” (see pic).
It also appeared in the previous app version.
Things that I’ve tried:
Toggling connectivity off then back online on the truck’s software.
Rebooting the iPhone.
Logging out then back into the app.
Uninstalling / reinstalling the app.

Check fuse #11 in the fuse box under the passengers feet area.

To save you some troubleshooting aggravation.

The app talks to Ford's servers - not the truck.
Your truck talks to Ford's servers - not the app.

That's how they communicate.

Ford hasn't heard from your truck.
Your app is talking to the servers to get that info.

Did this ever work?
Is this a new to you truck recently, or had for awhile?

Since you don't comment much on where the issue is - the truck side of the equation.

Fuse #11 is fine.
The issue started a few weeks ago. Didn’t seem to coincide with anything.
I am the first owner and the truck will have its first birthday next month.
So after some time playing around, it seems that the error message only displays in the app when the location sharing is disabled in the truck.
Despite the message, the app still has the lock/unlock/start functionality. Odd.

So those remote functions work - great.
Proves communication.

But location doesn't?
When you have location sharing disabled in truck.
Where's the big Easy button!

Can you see the mileage, distance to empty, % fuel, tire pressure?

The app does display the proper mileage, distance to empty, % fuel, tire pressure. The only thing (other than the message box itself) that seems to be affected is that the oil life is not reported sometimes, but not always.
