Floor Mats?

I had picked up my Maverick yesterday. I had rubber mats added that was on the order.
I asked the salesman where the carpeted mats were and he stated they are under the rubber ones.
I had glanced under the drivers floor and did see a carpeted mat.
Tonight I went to pull the carpeted mats out and they are only in the front of the truck.
I have purchased a lot of new vehicles over the years and have always had carpeted mats as apart of the vehicle.
Did anybody else have this issue or no carpeted mats at all.
The salesman is checking

Same for mine. Rubber on top of carpeted mats...but only in the front. Back is rubber mat only. Thought it was weird but whatever, not planning on taking the rubber mats out anytime soon.

Yeah I like the rubber a lot better. Easier to clean and I really like the Maverick logo.

They all come standard with carpeted mats in the front only. No back mats at all.

I have an XL and ordered the rubber mats. I did not receive carpet mats under them. Was I suppose to receive carpet mats in the front for the XL?

The rubber mats from Ford do NOT cover all the carpeted areas on the driver's side. They do not cover under the accelerator pedal! I wish I never paid $175 for this option! I'll search the club's posting to find the best mats to replace the junk Ford sells.

The only thing that logo on those mats says is that they don't cover much!

The logo is one of the reasons I wanted Ford's mats. But I'd rather have the area under the accelerator pedal protected. That is one of the significant wear areas on all vehicles, trucks, and cars. Maybe one of the accessory manufacturers will see this and sell an insert to cover the area the Ford mats don't and make us an accessory. I'd gladly pay around $20+ for an add-on than having to pay for a full set of replacement mats.
