I installed a FITCAMX front and rear camera roughly 2 weeks ago and everything seemed great. Worked flawlessly until last 2 files on microchip look corrupted and now no power to unit. I’ve checked all plugs for loose connections. I’m using OBD plug for power.
Just curious if anybody else is using the same dash cam and have had problems?

I am using the FitCamX. Mine is wired through an jumper harness I built that pulls power from the overhead harness that goes to the camera. The only issue I have with mine is occasionally when I hit a bump a certain way I get a quick rattle. Thinking about popping it off and trying to add a little foam tape to the bracket.

I did email back and forth with customer service with some questions and they were very responsive. I would try that.

Thanks for response, I’ve been emailing snd tried all of their suggestions and still no power. They’re sending me a new camera.
I’m attaching 2 photos and curious which wire you tapped into? they sent me this connector but assumed that since we don’t have rain sensor couldn’t use.
love the look of the camera but only downside is the email exchange and time difference for support.

I hacked apart their connector and built my own jumper, as well as added a connector for my homelink mirror. It goes inbetween the windshield camera in the center of the overhead and the factory wire harness.

WOW that's impressive. Way above my skill level. I'm hoping that maybe I just got a bad one and the new one hooks to the cables I've already run and are tucked away nice.
Thanks Again and have a great day.

I wired mine to the fuse box below the glove box on the passenger side with a suppled adapter and followed a good YouTube video of a Maverick install. Been installed for a month now, purchased it some 6 months ago. I do not like the app for viewing live (which I do not do). I have both front and rear video. I have had regular dash cams in other cars which were always visible and this one I forget I even have one.

I also bought the FitCam. I pulled off the ceiling cover and found the Connector that I assume is used for the rain sensor ,(that I do not have on my 22XLS). My first thought, ooooh I bet I can use this?!?
Do you mind telling me the details?
What's the wiring schematic for the plug?
Where and which mated connector to buy?
Which fuses? I assume it's not currently powered and needs fuses?
