Fishing tonight!

Well, this week was exciting on the tailgate, first thing was watching Starship launch, then tonight backing my truck up and using the tailgate and the tailgate latch to hold my fishing gear. Only caught 2 hardheads though. But was fun!

Just a couple of hard head cats, nothing to write home about, but I DID catch them on a baby back rib!

we used to use a flipper to get'em off the hook. Kinda a sawed off screwdriver with the end bent into hook shape. I go to N Padre and Port A all the time. great fishing there.

we are in Brownsville. I wish there were more places to fish here. There are a lot more up there.

try some of the parks around Laguna Madre,, a lot of the have piers. I'd be fishing for coins and jewelry, while metal detecting on South Padre Island. I sure yer having fun down there. I may go down to see a rocket launch sometime

Trust me, in order to see it you have to be close enough to see it sitting on the ground, otherwise you will only see a little torch. I was just past the shrimp operation on Port Isabel HWY and that was too far away.
