Gorgeous, congratulations!!!! I hope it continues to reliably and safely get you all where you need to go!Okay! Ready for some photos? I want to see everyone's photos....!
We took a drive and LOVE this truck!! It's very comfortable, quiet and we got 44.5mpg with just 87 octane...!
I added the closeup, to show how orange it is in the sunshine...!

I am spending way too much time on this. BUT, this might be my Maverick (inside a rail car) on a NS train that went through Horseshoe Curve about 6:45PM. Status shows intermediate arrival in Altoona (at the bottom of HS curve) at 7:05PM.For any of you out there whose Maverick is traveling NS, here is the rail fan live camera of Horseshoe Curve:
ETA: Left to Right will be eastbound.
My latest NS info was that my Maverick was/is at New Florence PA as of 4:44PM! This location is NW of Altoona, not far from the above Horseshoe Curve camera. However, the trains there are going UP UP UP in elevation as they move east so they move slow.
That is SO COOL that you got such photos!! I would definitely have been poring over it all too, had I had a chance like this!I am spending way too much time on this. I'm sorry but honestly I have no clue. I thought that at that point you would have switched from BNSF or UP to CSX or NS but things have not been as straightforward. I'm in the exact same boat. My truck has been bouncing around cities in Illinois for almost two weeks. Today is day 4 of being stuck in Dolton, Il for me so I feel your pain. If you see movement can you let me know?I am just curious because I see a lot of different information here. Will my Maverick change from BNSF to another carrier in Chigao if heading east to PA, or will I be able to track it through BNSF? I see people talking about CSX, but mine has been BNSF since Mexico and now it seems to be stuck/bouncing around different rail yards in Chicago. The automated line says shipment interchange received, Dolton, Illinois. It was in Thornton, Dolton, Gateway Yard, and now it went back to Dolton, where it has been for a few days. I don’t understand this at all. It has been over a month since it shipped and still has a ways to go to get to PA. It seems to keep getting stuck I large cities. Thanks.
I will update you if I get any new info.I'm sorry but honestly I have no clue. Awesome!!! Which telephone line did you call? I’ll try in a few minutes. Thank you for letting me know, fingers crossed that mine moved tooI just called the automated line and as of this morning, it is 8 miles closer in Gibson, Indiana.
I must admit, this process has been challenging.Welp I guess my train still hasn’t moved. Called again for all lines and no change; still in Dolton. After I get this truck I’m likely never ordering a vehicle for myself ever again, it’s far too angering.
I have been using the Norfolk Southern number 1-800-635-5768. My Railcar number is BNSF301152. The CSX number can't ever locate it or gives me some information from January, so I know it isn't accurate. The UP line has a harder time getting my number correct, so I barely try that one.Awesome!!! Which telephone line did you call? I’ll try in a few minutes.
