Feeling like the bed is well equipped and useful..

Today, went over to a storage unit we have to manage our stuff after we've decided to put Mexico on hold for a while and stay in Arizona. Noted tires were liw and my phone was dying .. hooked up both to the adapters I've installed in the bed... Looked at the bed and thought, wow it's pretty comfortable and practical back here.

(Not to mention that I finally have the bed rug trained to loop the right way when closing the tailgate)

RE: Bed is useful = I use my truck bed to haul things, tools, bags of garden products, etc. Of all the trucks I have owned, beginning with a used 1981 Nissan 5 speed extended cab. a used 1995 Chevy single cab S10 4wd with high output V6, a new 2006 GMC Canyon 4 cyl extended cab, a new 2016 GMC Canyon V6 extended cab, the bed in my Maverick is the most convenient to use with the standard tie-downs and adjustable side rails. I can almost always find a way using the standard tie downs to bungee items so they don't roll around. The 110 volt outlet is a different story. The only thing I can use it for is recharging batteries for power tools.

Where did you get those great looking seats?

My wife bought them online like 10 years ago, but she doesn't remember where . They are stadium seats, good for concrete or metal benches of the bleachers. Fold flat as back packs... Back angle is adjustable and they have armrests .

They turn my Maverick into a 7 passenger vehicle in Mexico. . In Arizona we will use them for outdoor lawn concerts in Tucson.

instead of hooking up the adapters on both sides, coudn't you have just used the built-in power plug on the left?

THe built-in power plug is 110v.... I utilized the spare wiring on both left and right to install a 12v barrel connector (cigarette lighter type) on the left: useful for the airpump, and a USB-C and USB-A on the right; useful for charging phones, etc... You can clearly see in the photo that both 12v locations are utilized...
