Got the email yesterday that my long awaited Maverick Lariat is finally scheduled for production on January 14. It will replace my '98 Ford Ranger which is getting a little long in the tooth, with 232,000 miles. Even though the expected market for the Maverick was young urban kids, this retired process engineer thinks it will be a great match for my lifestyle now.

If you ran a Ranger, you are gonna love your Maverick. It fits the same places, but fits you so much better.

I replaced a 1998 S-10 with my 2022 XLT EB…the only thing I do miss is the size of the bed…but all the rest makes up for that little deficiency…I am a retired professional as well….enjoy

Thank you for your support, Dave! We're excited for you to be behind the wheel of your Maverick.
