Drop in fuel milage

I have a 2022 Maverick hybrid that has 11118 miles on it. Has been getting about 43/44 miles per gallon around town since it was new. Now, lately I've only been getting around 35 +/_ miles per gallon. Anybody else having this problem? Anybody know the problem? It's time for an oil change and I'm wondering if that could be the problem.

If you put AC on either max cool or max heat or select "Low" or "high" temp the ICE stays on ALL the time.

Mine doesn't do this. The ICE does run more when set to LO or MAX A/C, but not constantly. And I don't get nearly as large a drop in MPG as the OP is experiencing.

It happenes to me somewhat, but not nearly as bad as you. I usually switch between Eco mode and slippery mode, when one of them is acting up as far as mileage goes.

Mine has dropped a bit recently but that’s due to blasting the AC for sure!
Its been HOT and HUMID here on Long Island
