Ford Maverick Do anyone have same dash cover issue/defect on Lariat ? IMG_0456

Took to dealership since was brand new for this issue and is not getting fixed, lower dash gets replaced but problem persist.
service manager told me that this is how is designed and they can’t fix it, is total nonsense because left side is all fine but rights side “hangs” down and moves, going on country bumpy road this gap extends.
Is not the problem on the lower dash but rather where this piece is connecting to because is just bit connecting in place, wanted to see when they do open but that won’t happen as I do see. Every time I do bring it in is more damage and scratches and does look like is connected to dash cover instead of the the dash itself and is moving up and down like 0.5-1 inch in like 1 month. Service manager is telling me if is to replace the dash rails I do need to pay for it to get it fixed or engage ford to send an engineer to check and fix it because they can’t do it for free (I did purchase at this dealership and since brand new did pointed to same defect and 6 month later, 3 replacements and same issue is present, lost bolts and scratches and dents is all I do get back).

find another dealer sounds like yours isn't service oriented.

I do not have that issue on my 2022 Lariat. I’d definitely contact Ford. No way you should be responsible for that in my opinion.

'22 Lariat 2.0 EB = don't have that issue but I have a rumble over uneven pavement. HOWEVER, I have not taken it to the dealer because of the damage, scratches you experienced. For a moment this week a Ford Guy, Drew, was in touch. I asked for any TSB's or anything from FoMoCo that address my rumble and ultimately he didn't provide anything except "take it to the dealer". Not going to do that and let them scratch up my dash while not solving my issue. So I am experimenting with stuffing various sizes of soft rubber and foam down where the windshield meets the dash. I suspect it is the where the duct for the defrost connects to the defrost vent on the dash cover but can't prove it. The passenger side is fine, no rumble.

Opened a case with ford and so far no ford engineer are available so I do look on what can be done because this dealer does do more damage than fixing and now refuses even to fix what they did damage, has now places of screwdriver where lower dash was removed, full of incompetence from this location and the point that the lower dash is not stable and keep rattling and is not stable …
