Hi , I followed instructions and installed the diy keeper tie downs per
I tapped the holes (m8), and cut larger opening for the recess plate.
My issue is that the recess plate still sticks up a bit because the liner thickness is not deep enough for recess plate to lay in flush to the drop in liner despite the new opening be just big enough. It works when it's not on truck.
Did anyone install it this way and have same problem?
Did you lift up you bottom liner by putting in extra padding or something under the liner just in this little are around the recess plate to get it flush? Am I missing something ?
