If you plan to use CarPlay/Android Auto every time you drive, you should look at getting a wireless adapter (mine was in the $70 range) and some velcro. Mine is plugged in to the bottom USB port, then the device stuck to the bottom of the cubby area behind it. So nice not having to plug in each time you hop in.

I love my Dongle (CarPlay wireless) but it is GLITCHY
