Our truck was offloaded in Miami from the train 1.5 weeks ago. Friday we talked with the Ford 1-800 number and they shared that they could see there was a “Delay-Convoy Carrier”. I read this as no trucks or we are back of a long queue waiting to ship out. The terminal in Hialeah is literally 20-25 minutes from our dealer…let’s see how long this new delay lasts

I'm an hour outside Chicago. Build on 3/11 and delivery originally scheduled for 3/28-4/2. Never heard a word from Ford after 4/2 passed so chatted with Ford CS and was told it had been delayed/ "convoy carrier delay" and was pushed back to 4/18-4/25. Ironically, my truck is in Chicago Heights, 45 minutes from my house. Today's 4/25 and no sign of my XLT hybrid.

Found out my truck in on "hold" about 3 hours from me at a major city. I assume it will be put on a transport semi and taken to my city from there. But being on "hold" for the past couple weeks has me worried. I'm fearing they damaged it. Anyone know what on "hold" means?...

When mine arrived at the rail head 3 hours from my city it was listed as Market hold. The dealer didn't even know what that meant. Don't worry, your Maverick will show up probably within a week. They nailed the delivery date that was promised.

It can be on hold for a recall that has to be repaired before they deliver it to the dealership. My Mach E GT was at the railhead in Atlanta for two months before they completed two recalls and got it to the dealership. I have a Maverick on order now.

It is normal. Happened to mine. Expect some extra miles on the odometer.

Yes, the extra miles no doubt means, they had perspective customers test drive it.

I’ve heard there are several sitting in Nogales, AZ because they can’t get enough truck drivers. Mine sat there a week. Picked it up Saturday.

had mine delivered with 13 miles. However, shipping damage - both mirror skull caps that were paint match, had scuff marks like they hit something while folded. Also had a dime size dent on the drive passenger window sill about dead center. Had the dent pulled and scuffs buffed out today - dealer was great, no excuses delivery as promised. I drove past 2 dealers to go to this 5 star dealer. Best way to beat the bad dealers at their game is to look up the rating and drive past the lower rated ones.
