What does "quality assurance hold" mean?

Are they holding it to check over and test to make sure it's 100%, or they already checked it and found something that needs attention before releasing it?

Mine is on hold with same message from a 11\30 build.

Just a hunch but maybe a design change to fix whatever new issues are popping up on the 2022-2023 builds

Honestly probably a good thing it's getting done now. I had an August 2023 build and hoped the bugs would be ironed out before it but clearly not lol
