Nothing Snarky about it. Canada is our Neighbor to the North and Mexico is our Neighbor to the south. The thread popped up in the regular Forum that is seen by all (it didn't say jack about Canada or Canadian section). I had no idea there was such a thing as a "Canadian section" of the forum. I did not "cut the OP down". Sorry if I offended anyone, that was certainly not my intent. My only intention was to save Benilla about $10 on the purchase. As I just purchased the same tail gate assist on Thursday when I found out that my Maverick got scheduled.

On a side note, I see you are an avid Motorcyclist. You have a lot of cool bikes listed in your info.
I too have some decent bikes: 03 V-Rod (100 yr anniversary edition), 84 V-65 Magna, 18 DRZ400, 02 WR250, 84 Gold Wing, 73 Yamaha 750 w/side car (last 2 are not running).

Not from Amazon.com, we have Amazon.ca which is free shipping but usually the cost of the item is higher than the American equivalent

Installed the tailgate shock...everything worked as advertised but the OVER-Did the "threat lock" making that bolt difficult.

Your not alone, I went to Lowes and found a hex head, I believe it was 10mm, to use instead of the enclosed one which sucks! The one that comes with the kit is easily stripped probably because of to much Loctite
