Nope, not yet. Dealer currently has 8 Maverick orders outstanding, one a few days older than mine.
That dealership might be out of allocations then. My hybrid lariat with bap got a build date for july after ordering in may.

Longtime lurker first time poster.

i probably know the answer, but here goes. I ordered a maverick (awd,4k, lux) on 4/9/24. The dealer said it taking about 90 days from order to delivery. Some people agree that 90 days is about right, others are saying about six months. What is everybody’s opinion?
I don't understand how dealers and/or others can speculate on how long it takes from order placement to dealer delivery because there are so many variables.

The first question to ask the OP is whether or not they received an email from Ford confirming receipt of their order. And did the OP receive a copy of the DORA from the dealer?

Examples:
  • How many allocations has the dealer received? Note that how Maverick allocations are determined is about to be changed as Ford nears the end of the 2024 Model Year. Furthermore, how many Retail orders do they have? And where are you in this queue?
  • What is your Maverick's configuration? This forum has someone kind enough to post the scheduling information indicating limited and exhausted availability items. They are currently scheduling for August production, and the limited and exhausted availability-constrained items make it sound like you need an XLT FX4 (EB AWD) to get scheduled quickly. Anything other than this probably won't be scheduled for August production.
  • Where are you located? Shipment to you can take days, weeks, or... it could be the rare case and get held up for months. For example, Long McArthur received a 2023 Lariat Hybrid last week that was held up from shipping in Mexico and held again in Kansas City.
I live in southern California, and we ordered a high-demand configuration: 2024 XL Hybrid. We placed the order as soon as the order banks opened from the number one volume Ford dealership in the US (Galpin Ford in North Hills, CA). It was produced in July. It was delivered to the dealership seven days after it was produced. Yes, it traveled by rail from Hermosillo, Mexico, to the depot in Ontario, California, picked up by a transport truck in Ontario, California, and delivered to the dealership in North Hills, California, in seven days.

According to the dealership numbers, Galpin Ford has sold 250 Mavericks in 2024. Their website shows they have twenty in stock. Thus, they are getting many allocations since they were the number one new Maverick selling dealer last year. And we still had to wait a year from order placement to delivery.

In conclusion, I don't think anyone other than your dealer can or should estimate when your particular Retail order will be delivered. If the dealer is good, they will know their allocation number, where you are in the order queue, the chances it will get scheduled based on current scheduling limited or exhausted items, and how long it typically takes from loaded on a rail car to delivery in the dealership.

If you ordered an EB AWD FX4 or Tremor, you are likely to be scheduled in August if your dealership has allocations. Then, add the typical time (the dealership tells you) it takes for a vehicle loaded on a rail car (in Hermosillo) to be delivered to the dealership.

By the way, another way they could tell you how long it would take would be to modify an existing Stock order to your configuration. They placed Stock orders (or received SIMS orders) if they had more allocations than Retail orders. If your configuration is close to one of these, they might have been able to modify the Stock order to match and get your truck earlier.

My salesman is telling me that they have allocations available.

Your order is a hybrid... Hybrids account for appx 55% of the builds being scheduled for August / 45% gas. If you have an order for an XL build.... you are pretty much shit out of luck. Capacity is 23%, orders are 68%.. Everything depends on what you are ordering and what parts are available... Three of my options are over ordered from supplies.

Actually I would prefer that it roll over to a 2025 at this point... Looking forward to seeing the changed in store for 2025. I am coming from an Escape Titanium, so I am loosing some things on the 2024 Maverick that look (from the mules anyway) may be available in 2025. lol
