CP 360 & CP 360 Assist Package - Are these mutually exclusive?

I ordered a Lariat today, and it was important to me to have adaptive cruise control, which is now included with the Co-Pilot 360 Assist Package.

On the order guide, it looks like this package is only $100 more than CP 360 so I figured it was definitely worth it... However, on my order summary I am paying $650 for CP360 AND $750 for the Assist Package.

Maybe I was being naïve given this is my first car purchase, but just want to make sure I'm understanding this correctly. Has anyone else had the same experience?

I believe they are two different packages now. Last year, there was only the CP360 option, but the Lariat Lux package included the CP360 Assist items in it. This year they broke them out, so you will need both packages to get Adaptive Cruise and Lane Centering.

You need both if you want the full package with ACC.

I passed on the "assist" option and just went with the standard CP360. I don't care for ACC, and with the rear camera, the rear proximity sensors are a bit redundant. Saved some money, got what I really wanted, and removed an additional constraint You can always go back and modify your order before is scheduled for build week.

Thanks all. I found this post which answered my question, and the dealer basically said the same thing.

I agree ACC isn't necessary, but I love it for 6hr road trips in CA so I'm happy I went with that option.
