It’s actually “Nappa” Leather, which is faux leather. The Lariat “leather” seats are faux as well. Most cars, including old Mercedes, use faux leather. It meets safety standards, and lasts with minimal care. I have these covers on both my Mavericks and they are fantastic in fit and style. They cover the whole seat back which many covers do not, and they have special stitching so the airbag can still deploy.
