I purchased the modular bedline through Ford Accessories with my Ford Pass reward points and had it shipped to the dealer I purchased from, to be installed. After getting the run around on if they have it and when it can be installed, I finally have an appointment set but they want their usual shop rate per hour and tell me it will likely take 2 hours. This will effectively double the cost of the liner. Videos I've seen show DIY who know what they are doing and have the right tools only taking about 1 hour. I also paid the $60 install fee from Ford Accessories and they say the can't access that. Plus they want my Maverick all day.
What have others paid for a dealer installed modular bedliner? Do this dealer just not want the work?
Thinking I will just make the time to do it myself even if it takes me 4 hours.
