Ford Maverick Color Matching 0EB7049C-0C14-4827-8137-D0D08ABE1E4B
So I picked up this beauty of a truck while at work (I work for a ford dealer) on June 2nd and have put 2200 miles on it since and love it. Working on gathering parts to be able to finish this thing. I’ve got a color match in the works should be getting done next week then I have some satin bronze wheels being made for it in the next few weeks and a full custom exhaust being done with custom built square tips that fill the square pieces in the rear bumper. All I’m waiting on is for someone to come out with lowering coilovers for it and I will be done with it. Hoping to have it done within the next 6-7 months. If anyone has any advice on what else I should do please reply and I will take the comments into consideration

I don't understand what "Color Match" is in this context. What are you color matching? What does it do to the truck?

There are a couple videos on YouTube I've seen of a couple people doing the color match on the grill bar. It looks like a pain to remove and replace but sure looks good when its body colored. Ive considered trying to pick up a new part while I wait on my order and get it painted alto blue to put on when I eventually get my Maverick. I would like to get the door handles matched as well but thats a lot of work and time to get those out.....you don't have to worry about that since you have a lariat. My order is an XLT but at least with the lux pkg the mirror caps are color matched to the body.

I also got the Ford soft tonnau cover brackets and the mounting brackets for the tailgate assist powder coated black so they're ready to go. Among a few other things I have the full Las fit exterior lighting LED bulb kit, a Steeda strut tower brace, and since mine will be the 2.0 EB I picked up one of Burchers catch can kits and a 2.0 EB engine cover and hardware meant for an Escape but fits on the Maverick. I am considering an exhaust kit at some point as well but after driving loud vehicles for so long I'm looking for quiet and no drone but with some extra flow. That may mean a custom route.

And yes, maverick specific lowering kit/coil overs are something I'm waiting for as well. IMO they look incredibly good sitting with a little lowering and some wider tires/wheels.

All the black plastic except for the lariat badge in the front quarter panels will be painted to match the color of the truck

Hell yeah dude I’m going to put satin bronze wheels on mine and the springs on the coilovers are going to match the wheels. I’m really waiting on eibach to come out with a set
