Do you have the moonroof? If so try closing the cover when parked. It is suprising how much heat that window brings into the cab.

Thanks for the tip, however I do not have the moonroof. Hopefully getting the rest tinted will help.

As long as you go with ceramic tint you should be pleased.

I am in Texas too, and trying to tint. Did you do by yourself? Precut film? Any recommendation or link for film?

I pay for the tint to be done. The shop I go to uses Solar FX Window films! Hope that helps.

I did 50% entire front. Front 2 matched to the rears. Rear and back glass are factory.

I have a ram 2500 with the entire front at 70% fronts 35 and rears factory 20. I use to live in Va. Now I’m in TN

between the 50 and 70 on the front. There is zero visibility difference. My tint guy said you’ll get decreased visibility at 35% but nothing at 50. I trust him but didn’t believe him. He was correct tho. I have ppl in the maverick that really don’t know it’s even tinted. The 50% is of course just a shade darker looking them Side by side. I’ll only do 50% now anymore would be stupid.

this is is an overcast day. I think it looks darker than it really is. In fact I know it does it’s my truck.

Yesterday I finally got all of my windows (The front windshield, 4 windows, and back windshield) tinted with ceramic tint and I love it! I hated that anyone could easily see inside my truck/knowing how hot the truck would get during the Texas summer. Now I have the added privacy and the inside feels cooler. Added some before and after pics.

Looks good. We wanted to do that, but our installer only had 10% and up and would make everything too dark.

The uniform tint is so nice! Especially with your blue truck! Really wish we could do that here
