I thought this was a great deal but it's a no-go on Hybrids even though it claims to be compatible.

I've just spend a total of 6 hours trying to get these to work. Realtruck advertises them as compatible with the 25 Maverick Hyb rid. Maybe it the manufacturing tolerances from Ford, but I finally gave up as it won't work with MY mav. The problem is the installing of the bolts and hybrid-only nuts that secure the nerf boards' mounting brackets to the body.
There's 2 methods.. bent-bolts that just slip into a slot on the body, and with a twist hang straight down. They work as long as there's room above the slot to make the twist. SOME of the slots on they hybrid have room but not all of them. Just use nuts to secure the brackets to the hanging bolts
The other method is slide a nut with welded small plate into a hole near the slot, and then move it so the nut is centered over the slot, and then use a bolt for a bracket that screws into that that nut. This is REQUIRED for some of the Hybrid mounting locations because there's some extra metal above the slot making it impossible to just twist in a bent-bolt.
When I fist received the kit it didn't have enough of the nut-plates required for hybrids. I finally got some extra, and when I got around to putting one through the nearby hole and maneuvered it over the slot, the NUT's HOLE was not aligned with the slot. There's no room for error and the plate that's welded to the nut seems to be just a little too wide. I could NOT get the nut centered in the slot so there was no way a bolt coult mate up to it. The only solution would be grinding down the plate and/or widening the slot. It's only off by maybe 1/4" but that's enough to cause the issue. On top of that, one of the nut/weld plates wasn't built right (probably would not have worked even if I could have got the bolt in). Very frustrating to be stopped by poorly designed and/or built mounting hardware.
Maybe other Maverick builds would work fine, but I've given up. I am waiting for RealTruck to send me the return label so that can pick up the POS. Not too pissed off at Realtruck as they tried to make it right, but I think the design of this kit needs a rework for the 25 hybrids and the nut/welded plate.
PS the instructions also failed completely in explaining how to remove the plastic clips that are in the slots. I had to find a post and vid here on the forum for help on that.
