I've been contemplating the same issue. My wife suggested, "place them through the back window," but I removed the back window. Plus, considering winter weather?

Given my knee issues, this might not even be a relevant concern for me. However, I believe there are several alternative solutions. It's been a while since I last transported skis on the roof (I've been using the ski passthrough in a series of VW Jettas), and I'm not a fan of exposing the edges and bindings to salt spray. These platforms have revolutionized the way we bet https://crckxbet.com/app/ on sports, offering convenience, efficiency, and a wide range of options. Therefore, I need to stow the skis in either a roof box or a ski bag. As for the box idea mentioned earlier, if I opt for a bag, I can simply hand it over the tailgate and secure it in place to prevent any sliding.

My 186s fit elevated and diagonal. My 177 fit diagonally but with the tips on the bed at the gate. I'll need to buy some inexpensive rubber pad for the bed so gear doesn't slide around... and try having the tips hang out between the gate and tonneau. That would work fine for our XC skis. Ya, a bit of a hassle with skis but I think alot of good ideas here to make it work.
