BT audio vs wired CarPlay

I usually use wired android car play for the overall improved user experience in my mav. But the otherday i happened to switch over to BT connection and noticed a huge volume boost versus the wired carplay connection. What the heck? Is this normal? Anyone else notice this? I'm in a 23 xlt fx4 4ktow with base radio

yes i've noticed it too. Ford engineers didn't do their homework on this. heads should roll.

I think you mean Android Auto, not carplay.

I seldom need or use Android Auto and just let the phone play music through BT. It connects quickly and very reliably.

The few times I've used a wired connection & AA, I have noticed a difference in volume level between the two. But not much.

FWIW, my TV's volume varies between different input sources too. I just adjust the volume level to account for it.
