I went to the Ford dealer where I have my '23 Maverick Lariat hybrid order (9/16/22 confirmed) and brought the bed utility package discount to their attention. Since I already had the spray in bedliner as an option, I decided to get the cargo manage system for "free" via the discount package. After some navigating in their computer, they found the discount package. However, the dealer showed me the prompt that indicated the cargo management system is contrained...meaning, it could delay my order. Has anyone experienced this same news? My dealer showed me what he saw in the computer, so I can verify the prompt. It doesn't make sense Ford would offer this discount package only to have one of the items threaten to push back orders that try to take advantage of the deal. I told the dealer not to add the discount package because I don't want to let tie down rails potentially delay (or kill) my chances at getting a Maverick this year. Is Ford just not updating their system to reflect that the cargo management system is not constrained? It's pretty annoying. If I don't get my hybrid truck this year and there's more competiton in 2024, I'm not sure I'll go back to the Ford brand (Maverick would be my third Ford vehicle) because of how the ordering experience is being handled.
