Took delivery of my “dealer ordered” XL AWD on 11/30/2021. Did not come with tonneau cover or bed protector. Most Ford OEM accessories and third party items were either out of stock or not yet available. This is how it went:
1. Got a Ford roll-up tonneau cover in December. ($900….15% off full price. Ford promo)
2. Quoted $750 for a spray in bed liner from Line-X (no thanks)
3. Bed Rug impact on back order from early December from 3rd party retailer (cancelled in January, tired of waiting)
4. Five piece Ford OEM drop in bed liner on back order from mid-January (cancelled in early March….dealer Had no idea when it would be available)
5. Ordered Bed Rug Impact from Ford dealer mid-March. (Checked on order 4 weeks later…..dealer had no record of my order…….WTF)
6. Saw a posting on this forum that the 5 Piece OEM drop in bed liner was available on FordAccessories.com…..Ordered (delivered to my home yesterday) $450
The price went up $85 from January.
Small potatoes compared to some who are still waiting for their Mavericks. I guess this is the new normal.
