For those of us that use the Maverick like a truck (hauling firewood, mulch, manure, gravel, etc.) having a light in the bed makes no sense and is one thing that can get broken very quickly. I just made a quick cover with Velcro attachments to keep it intact while tossing logs into the bed. Also put a Rural King mat in the bed to protect it. The mat can just be pulled out to dump the dirt off.
