Anyone get scheduled for a build without ever getting an email?

I was one of the (seemingly) several folks that never got an email from Ford confirming my order when it was placed, back on 7/14. My salesperson has sent me a pic of the Build Sheet, so I'm pretty sure the order was finalized properly, but it'd also be nice to have received something from Ford.
I'd hoped I could at least confirm my contact information with Ford, so that I could confirm that the wrong information wasn't entered and that I might actually receive an email once I get picked for scheduling, but I just got off a chat with them and they said they couldn't tell me anything about my order until I had a VIN.

So, my question, for the folks that never received their initial order confirmation email from Ford and have already been scheduled:
Did you receive your build confirmation OR did you have to wait for your salesperson to get around to letting you know?

Like many others, I'm trying to time the sale of an existing vehicle and the 5-6 weeks heads up that we get once our order has been picked was perfect timing for me, as I figured my reliance on the dealer would be nil and I could just "forget about all of this until I get the heads up on the build". Definitely a bit disappointing if I'm either going to be at the mercy of relying on my salesperson for real time updates OR I'll have to keep badgering him on and off indefinitely because I have no confidence that Ford will give me the heads up I was counting on.

I'd sure get some warm and fuzzies if I heard other folks in my scenario saw the notification system start working for Build Confirmation after failing on Order Confirmation though.

I purchased through Granger. Once the order was placed, I received the email from Ford later the same day.

I have been scheduled to build for the week of 9/13 and have a VIN, however I did not receive the build scheduled email from Ford. There are others in the same boat as me. Granger actually let me know when it received the build date and sent me the VIN. I also confirmed it with the Ford Marketing contact # later the same day, a couple of weeks ago. I was also able to add the VIN to my Ford account.

Also in the same boat, as I am either selling or trading my 2019 Ford Ranger XLT in when the time comes. I expect it'll be ready for pickup early to mid October if build and delivery all align. I've been weighing selling early as the value has continued to slowly tick down (I've been submitting to Carvana,Carmax, Autonation every 7-10 days to keep track).

Nice to hear that, apparently, Ford just can't figure out how to send automated emails with anything approaching consistency, regardless of what that notification might be.

I'm doing the same thing with Carmax/etc. The car goes when either:
1. The offer drops down to a predetermined value.
2. I'm approximately 2 months away from delivery.

Whichever comes first. Luckily, I've only lost a couple hundred dollars the last few weeks, so I still have a ways to go.

I ordered in early July and never got an email. I checked with the dealer and they showed me it had been accepted to Ford. They gave me a copy of the build sheet.

Same story here. I ordered a Hot Pepper XLT hybrid with luxury, moonroof, and floor mats. I ordered and got my confirmation email on 6/15. After not getting emails, I contacted my salesman to make sure there were not any items holding it up. He said it was scheduled for production week of 9/13, and provided me with a vin. The Ford website accepted that vin, and I can view information, but still shows no reservations or orders.

I setup an account on ford.com but my maverick order does not appear on the reservation/order section even if I used same email\address\name.
I have reason to believe that is I am very lucky to have my july 27th order scheduled I will not get an email from Ford but from the dealer.
