Anyone ever have their truck only via convoy?

After a 2 week delay sitting at the factory not shipped, and a recent update on expected delivery with ford chat, I have a delivery date that is only taking 9 days for shipping..... my window sticker does show convoy, which I have always thought as odd... I am in Seattle area.... I am calling ford marketing tomorrow, but wonder if anyone else experience something like that...

Well you know more than I do, yours was built the week before mine. Mine is going convoy as well but no idea when.
Every vehicle comes up here by truck, or barge no matter the manufacturer.

Most are transported by rail for Ford... which can take some time to Washington State.

Mine is coming to Canada by rail.

Built July 21
Shipped from Hermosillo August 23
Arrived at Missouri Interchange September 1
Enroute to Canada September 3

I don’t expect to see it before the September 13 deliver date.

From previous experience it will likely sit in the railyard in Canada for a couple of weeks.

I called my Portland-area dealer today. My truck shipped via convoy from Hermosillo on August 26. On the dealer's end, they are showing it currently in Oroville CA. They estimated it could be delivered between 9/14-9/20. It will sit in the port of Portland for up to a few days. Hopefully it goes fast! It will be nearly exactly one whole year since ordering. We're in the final steps of the home stretch, the finish line is just a few feet away...

It is so weird about mine... ford chat says as soon as 9/13-9/17 after shipping 9/5 after sitting at factory for 2 weeks... almost makes me think they didnt scan at factory when they shipped it out, until it got transferred to the next leg of the shipping. I just want to know so i can get the financing all in order with the credit union, and then see what ford can do within the same time frame so it doesnt ding my fico so much.

Do you have a credit union that you would recommend?

I am in a bit of a tight spot. Super good credit, but unemployed right now for a quick moment, as my new job flying for a major airline starts at the end of this month and I took a short break after leaving my previous job in July. I was planning to trade my current car in to help offset the financing, plus a few thousand dollars cash down. I figured just biting the bullet and taking the lower trade value hit with the trade in, and financing through the dealer was the most hassle-free way to just get my damn truck off the lot.
