anyone done any removal of the plastic bed trim?

ususall if I'm going to be putting on my RTT, I'll be going off road a bit (if nothing more than forest service/logging roads) & find that where I go, I can always benefit from additional lighting....

thinking of mounting some off road lights to the front of my RTT & was thinking a good wiring solution might be to run the wiring through the plastic "corner trim" between the rear of the cab & bed rail trim.

would probably go through that piece & then to my wireless light controller that I'll be mounting in the engine compartment.

anyone had this particular piece off orrun any wiring through it for lighting or other mods?
