I got my window sticker today, and I noticed the roughly $1,000 price increase on my base XLT hybrid. I ordered on October 5th, and haven’t made any changes to my order over the summer. Should I ask my dealer to honor the original MSRP we agreed to, or do I eat the additional cost? Does anyone have experience with this? Thanks!
Did you put money down to keep the price? I called my dealer and told them the problems people were having. Said I was locked in. 19995 price, 350 for the additional stuff, 1300 for destination and 1800 for taxes. Ordered Jan 19. Waiting. Dealership keeps in touch with me. They don't know when it will come.

Yes—$1,000 down when I ordered it. And they have shown me exactly what I will pay on a couple of occasions, but that was before the price hike. Sounds like our dealerships have a similar philosophy. Hope you get yours soon!

I just got the price protection AND 3.9% for 72 months. But then I got a good dealer. (Van Bortel Ford in East Rochester)
Yes, the rates are locked in for 2022 orders. Your dealer just had to go into the system and select the correct rates. Unfortunately it seems like we will lose those rates when we have to reorder for 2023.

Van Bortel Ford for me as well.
No gimmicks. Didn’t have to ask for anything. They know how it all works. Honored my trade-in value as well (the one they gave me back in October).
If you got any kind of paperwork when you ordered, that has pricing, you should be all set.
