Amazon Echo Car

Yeah, I was just being a pain in the butt. I was an early adopter of Amazon Echo Car when it was in beta/first limited release. I used it for a few weeks and then stopped plugging it in. It is still there on my dash, but not being used. For me it was only really helpful as a way to add Bluetooth to my "dumb" car stereo. I had mine plugged into the audio-in jack. So I could tell it to stream me whatever music I wanted from my phone. I guess voice command music is nice. But the novelty wore off for me.

This was me too, got an early invite and bought it right away, I think it lasted a week and a half. Just wasn't as useful as I thought.

We have echos in every room of the house, but the car just wasn't worth it.
