Thanks for this information. The Ford parts online does not list the cover as a separate piece likely because few people would buy the cover unless the airbag had deployed.

If the airbag has deployed, wouldn't you want to replace the entire airbag assembly and not just the cover? And that's assuming the vehicle wasn't declared a total loss.

the airbag hasn’t deployed. The cover is just split.
