I have read many of the stories on here about Dealerships that just don't treat people right. So I wanted to share my experience.
I thought long and hard about ordering a Maverick. I live in North Fort Worth and we have many Ford Dealers to choose from in the DFW market. In looking around at each one I could see who was doing markups and who was not. So in July last year I went to AutoNation Frisco. About an hour through traffic from where I live. I worked with one of the order Managers, Dennis Gooding. Dennis was great. From the time I ordered in July 23 he would call me or email me to keep me updated and informed on where my order was in the process. Often he had info before Ford's order progress site was updated. When he called me and told me that my truck was at the rail yard in Mesquite TX I was very excited. But it still took a couple of weeks to get it to the dealer. If you look at Google maps at the rail yard you can see that at any given time there are a thousand vehicles sitting there. You can even pick out the Mavericks from the other trucks. Finally, my truck was delivered to the dealer on the 10th of Jan, I got the call from Dennis it was there the morning of the 11th and I went and did the paperwork that afternoon. The hard part was leaving the truck to have them tint the windows today, but it works out for me to pick it up tomorrow the 13th after I pick my wife up at the airport. She can drive the Toyota home.
The truck looks great, I can hardly wait to start adding my touches to it.
If anyone in the DFW area is thinking of ordering a Maverick I would not hesitate to use AutoNation Frisco again. These people were very professional and treated me they way you would want to be treated.
Also, out of 20 or so Mavericks listed as in transit to Frisco, mine was the only FX4, about 90% are Hybrids. I saw more being delivered while I was there.

There is a dedicated thread for this here:

I would also request you submit your recommendation using this Google Form (click here) so I can update the MTC Dealer Recommendations and Warnings spreadsheet.
