I needed to replace my Ridgeline quickly (someone decided for me by turning left in front of me) and I found a 2024 Mav Hybrid Lariat Black Edition and pulled the plug.
I signed the paperwork, got my keys and jumped in to go home, but the truck didn't want to leave! The dash lit up but when I pushed the start button the truck died! The dealer promptly put in a new 12V battery and I was on my way home with my new baby. Ten days later while driving home from work, at the same intersection as my previous accident, someone drove through the red light turning right into my right rear door claiming the didn't see me!
Fortunately the damage was minimal and a local PDR shop was able to repair the damage to my satisfaction. Fast forward 6 weeks and I start getting deep sleep messages twice a day when I park the truck! I love the truck but am beginning to wonder if I made a mistake? Just took the trickle charger off as I'm heading out of town for the weekend and don't want to be stuck, but I have packed my Noco GB40 boost battery - hopefully I won't need it!
