2024 Maverick Backup Cam Recall

I'd bet the low level beginner tech normally put on these simple jobs was given multiple attempts to try - and failed.
And now they need to hand it off to a higher paid tech, but because they are only going to be paid so much for this recall - and already wasted that money on the time for the beginner tech, they need to wait until the senior tech truly has time and not cutting into his income.

Dont know but I do know they are not getting it back any time soon. I dont sit at a dealership and "wait" for their unknown/undisclosed" time frames it gets dropped off.. since this is about 40 miles away and they have had it now 2X to do this once it was at my convenience as i dropped it off when we were going to a farmers market in that town and then picked it up later in the day.. and this time they came and got it as I told them im not wasting my time sitting there for them to do it..

The next time they will possibly have a shot to try is 4th of july week and then sometime in late October(my wifes vacation times) they had their chances and failed.. I think im just doing oil changes locally now also as its easier..
