It's been a long wait, just like many of the others. I had to wait six months to put in my 2023 order, rolled-over, build completed 1/9, shipped 1/15, arrived at dealership 2/2, picked up 2/3. A little jealous because my wife got to see it before I did, she was driving by the dealership when she noticed the car hauler on the lot. She pulled in right after it rolled off the truck. Our sales guy met her on the lot and yelled to her that the Maverick that she was parked by was mine. The dealership got it checked in and prepped overnight. I got to the dealership this morning only to walk in and see my wife sitting in the drivers seat of my Maverick parked on the showroom floor with a bow on the hood. She still hasn't driven it yet, but I love this truck. Driving it is everything I anticipated and then some. It was quicker than I expected during the test drive and rides so smooth. Actually drives and rides better than my 19 Fusion and feels about the same size inside. I got it home and started installing mods right away. So far, I have installed a tri-fold soft tonneau cover, mud flaps, all weather floor mats, door strip protectors, bed mat, tailgate assist, hitch cover, and a couple of console organizers. Items still waiting to be installed, bug shield, in-channel vent visors, tail light/turn signal strip light under tailgate, and hood struts. I haven't taken any post mod pics yet, but will post them once I get everything installed.

Hi Ken.

Congratulations on finally getting your Maverick! You have certainly been really patient waiting for this moment - and great story about it finally arriving too.

Now that you have it, perhaps one of the first mods is to add a Maverick Truck Club decal so you can properly “represent.”

Two styles/sizes available:

Maverick Truck Club Decal (Glossy) | MaverickTruckClub - 2022+ Ford Maverick Pickup Forum, News, Owners, Discussions ($5 delivered)

Maverick Truck Club Decal (Transfer) | MaverickTruckClub - 2022+ Ford Maverick Pickup Forum, News, Owners, Discussions ($6 delivered)

Finished all of the mods that I can do now, a little sad because the tailgate light bar that I had given to me for my Mav is too long. Here's the post install pics.

Thanks, I am sure you will love it. Check the Ford Order stratus site regularly, they are horrible at updates in email or text. A lot of people have been seeing their Mavericks built early, hopefully yours will be too.

Thank you, I've been stocking up pieces to put on it for about two months. My wife put me on Amazon and eBay restriction because the pile was getting rather large. Now that the pile is gone, time to start planning my next project.
