I did the same, Sold my 22 Hybrid XL with 11,8xx miles with Co-Pilot 360, factory SIBL and Hitch for $23,500 to a dealer (best I offer I got). I had added cruise switches and programmed, a tail gate power lock and front and rear mud flaps. Had been hit on drivers side rear door and fender ($7k damage repaired at ford dealership). Got it out of shop on Feb 27th, same day my 24 Hybrid XL arrived. Everything considered, cost me about $2500 to move from the 22 to the 24.

I live in St. Charles MO, my selling dealer and prior 20 year employer had no interest in buying my 22 so I had contacted a few St. Louis area Ford dealers and the highest offer was $21k. I contacted Joe Machens Ford in Columbia Mo.(100 miles away) and got an immediate acceptance of my request for $23,500. Drove out next day and had no issues getting a check for that amount. They were excited to get it, it was sold 3 days later (asking $27,900, don't know what they got). I know I could have gotten more selling it myself but didn't want the hassle of doing so. I am happy with my decision. Funny thing, I talked to my dealer General Manager 2 days later and he said he would have gladly bought it for the $23,500, they all knew I was selling it so I don't know where the failure to offer to buy it was. Side note: my brother is a Purdue Alum, somewhere around 1972, he passed away in 1989.
