This is a 14 month review of my XLT FX4 Maverick. I was planning on a 1 year review but the holidays and life got in the way. Ordered in July 2021 from Wiscasset Ford in Maine and picked up December 2021. First week I road tripped with my wife and dog from Maine to NJ and back and fell in love. I've added a Gator sfx tonneau cover, Rock Blox mud flaps, the Ford window deflectors and the Ford console vault. I love all the accessories, everything has preformed as advertised. Overall I LOVE this truck. Ive gotten around 27mpg combined over the 14 months I've had it (measured at the pump) After all this time, there is only ONE thing I don't like about it and one thing that's just really odd. The thing I don't like is he A pillar blind spot. The A pillar combined with the mirror and my seating position (I'm 5'4") create a wicked blind spot that's down right dangerous when driving in parking lots. The one really odd thing is the auto high beams. Overall they (and the auto headlights) work really well but they seem to need some contrast. If its pitch black, as it can be in rural Maine, the high beams won't turn on! Other than that I love this truck and would buy another one in a heartbeat! Any questions feel free to ask!
