Will this work in the a Lariat with the non-sync system? Also did it have NAV?

I’m not aware of the Maverick lariat coming with a non sync system. I believe all lariat trims had sync 3. And yes this does have factory navigation on it that did work. Although with sync 4 u have to do over the air updates so it will not update the map as ford releases newer versions of the map. The good part is the apim can’t communicate with ford so it won’t end the subscription either which is now required with sync 4 navigation after the trial period runs out.

Yea, that's a common misconception that all Lariats have Sync 3. In 2023, when I ordered my Lariat, you had to add the Lux package to get the upgraded stereo system. So I'm unsure at this point what all is needed to upgrade to the Sync 4 and larger screen. Still some reading to do to figure that out.

There is some posts about non sync to sync 4 I believe u need a few more wiring harnesses…this setup I’m selling plugs right into sync 3 harness and then screen and works.

I am not fully aware, I have a 2023 Lariat with sync 3. You mention in your post if was programmed for your vehicle. Is this "plug n play" or does it need programming of any sort?

Individual I sold it too reported it was simply plug n play for his sync3 system.
