$100 Gift certificate for Ford Merchandise

Hello,
Has anyone else been offered a $100 gift certificate for Ford merchandise from the Ford Maverick Marketing Team?
They made me the offer after another disappointing call to the team checking on my Maverick’s build progress.
I’m reluctant to accept the gift certificate because of the ongoing delays to my order (10/30/2021) and not wanting to give the company cause to remind me of their generous offer.
I would much prefer a free build date.

This is the new tactic. They offered to me this week when I called. My order is 9/4 and nothing so they will have a lot of these offers coming I don’t care about swag gear I want my vehicle.

They sent me one and I had to call them to order and at my dealership they couldnt use it, when you get it andf you log in to use it it says ford employee website. I did get some swag from ford good luck to you

My advice - take what you can get. Ford isnt going to remind you of anything except " Please understand that while getting your vehicle into production is taking longer than usual, we are doing all we can to minimize the delays. " LOL

I called just now and got one by just asking for it. All I said was I'm disappointed in the open-ended wait time and BAP being misrepresented. She issued it in about 3 minutes to my email. By far the easiest process of anything I've had to deal with involving Ford. Now I have to figure out how to use it lol.

I received the $100 certficate, and used it to get a fleace jacket, 2 tee shirts, and a key fob thing. All have Ford Logo on them for free advertizing for Ford. You can't use it for anything else.

I just got the merchandise, 2 bottles, 2 key rings, 2 t’shirts (I’m Vulcan) and my Maverick is ALLEGEDLY two weeks away, I thought the truck would beat the order since it is Florida to Honolulu, but nope…but thank you FoMoCo for teaching me patience has it’s rewards…
